An eye tumor that developed in the middle of the war and a difficult childhood spent in camps and city life...
We were there for her from the moment an eye tumor was diagnosed in an eight-year-old girl until her eye was removed and prosthetics were placed. We witnessed the ups and downs of this short but heavy story, and we tried to lighten the load for her as much as possible. We continued to be with our child and her family, with the help of translators and volunteers, until she was able to recover and continue her education. Even though the war had the most devastating impact on children, we saw that it did not have the power to erase the smile of this beautiful girl, to whom we gave a huge Safinaz doll after the surgery. So much so that when her prosthesis relieved her pain, she exclaimed, "Look how beautiful I am!" She continues to visit our association to share her progress and happiness.
With the contributions of our donors, we maintain the beautiful bond that we have formed with this child. You can also help us to be a beacon of hope in the lives of many more children.
