With a holistic approach, our social services and aid activities aim to provide sustainable solutions in the fight against poverty, improving the socio-economic conditions of single-parent and underprivileged families. Through our comprehensive social service model — which includes personalized family support plans, guidance sessions, in-kind and cash assistance, therapy services, and family seminars — we contribute not only to the well-being of individuals but also to the broader transformation of society in a sustainable way. To support the development of orphans and children in need, we also work to strengthen and support their families.

  • In order to help families break the cycle of poverty, we conduct one-on-one guidance sessions to address their challenges in education, health, and employment.
  • We provide in-kind and financial assistance according to the needs of each family.
  • We encourage adults who are able to work to participate in the labor force.
  • We direct illiterate family members to literacy or language courses.
  • We ensure children’s regular school attendance and support adult participation in vocational training programs.
  • If there are sick individuals in the household, we accompany them through the hospital treatment process.
  • Recognizing that a child’s development and well-being are closely linked to the mother, we support mothers’ mental health with therapy services.
  • In addition, through our psychosocial support programs, we organize family seminars that bring parents together with experts from various fields such as psychology, education, economics, and law, addressing common family issues.

How do we identify the families who receive aid?

Application and Registration Process for Families in Need

Our association accepts applications only from families with children in need.

We receive aid requests via phone, WhatsApp messages, email, or in-person visits to our office. In order to process an aid request, we ask applicants to submit necessary documents (such as identity cards, residence documents, medical reports, etc.). A digital file is created for each family, and a family ID number is assigned. This allows us to systematically monitor each family's aid process. Additionally, during our field visits, we identify families in need who are unaware of how to apply for support and include them in our system.

Determining Need

Our social evaluation teams, consisting of social workers and volunteers, conduct home visits to verify the information provided and assess the family's level of need. We gather information from the household and the surrounding environment. During these visits, we assess the condition of the house, family members, and their needs. Based on this, we later organize aid distribution. However, we do not immediately inform the applicants whether they will receive aid or the specific amount during the assessment visit.

Assessment of Findings

We evaluate needs and determine aid eligibility without discrimination based on race, religion, sect, or political views. The data gathered from household assessments is reviewed by our aid evaluation committee according to objective criteria, and each family is assigned a social aid score. Taking into account the association's resources and our donors’ contributions, we deliver appropriate in-kind or financial assistance to eligible families — always guided by a spirit of solidarity, sincerity, and building trustworthy human relationships.

Re-evaluation

At regular intervals and/or in light of new information, we monitor changes in the families’ situations and re-evaluate whether to continue, revise, or discontinue the aid provided.
