During our social assessment and assistance activities, we identify orphaned and needy children and parents who require psychological support due to reasons such as war, migration, loss of parents or siblings, insufficient income, health issues, etc., or who request psychological support by reaching out to our association. We refer them to our volunteer mental health professional teams, as well as to private institutions, NGOs, and organizations we collaborate with. We ensure that children and families receive individual or group psychotherapy services, participate in psychoeducation programs and workshops, and we monitor the continuity of the psychological support process.
Psychoeducation Activities
We organize training activities to strengthen the well-being of orphaned and needy children and their families. As part of our psychosocial support activities, we organize psychoeducation workshops with the support of our volunteer psychologists to contribute to the personal development and well-being of orphaned and needy children and their families. Through these psychoeducation sessions, we aim to strengthen the psychological well-being and contribute to the personal development of our beneficiaries, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our goal is to ensure the continuity of the psychological support we provide through these training activities.
Training for Adults
In Istanbul, we organize training series with the support of our volunteer psychologists for adults living in households in need, aiming to help them cope with the challenges they face in daily life, adapt to social life, and strengthen parenting processes.
In these adult training sessions, we address topics such as access to social services, family communication, parenting skills, building healthy relationships with children, and problem-solving skills. Our goal is to enhance parents' knowledge and skills in accessing essential services in social life, such as education, health, and employment, and to help them contribute more consciously and supportively to their children's development.
Training for Children and Youth
In Istanbul, we organize training series with the guidance of our volunteer psychologists to support young people in need, helping them cope with the individual and social challenges they face during adolescence and navigate their development in a healthy and conscious way. In these youth training sessions, we address topics such as challenges related to adolescence, emotional regulation, stress management, building healthy social relationships, exam anxiety, and family relationships. Through these training sessions, our goal is to strengthen the psychological well-being of young people, boost their self-confidence, and contribute to their development as healthy individuals.
