Each year, we organize Eid activities to ensure that orphans and children in need have a joyful Eid and their basic needs are met. This year, we are conducting our Eid al-Adha activities in impoverished neighborhoods in Türkiye and villages in Africa, bringing your kindness to those in need.
What do we do?
We perform the slaughter of your Wajib (obligatory), Adaq (vowed), Aqiqah, or Shukr (gratitude) qurbani on your behalf and deliver the meat to households in impoverished neighborhoods of Türkiye and villages in Africa. Your support helps share the joy of Eid with orphans and children in need who rarely get meat in their homes and face malnutrition throughout the year.
- The cost of a share of qurbani in Africa is 100 USD.
- The cost of a share of qurbani in Türkiye is 370 USD.
We buy Eid clothes to help meet the clothing needs of orphans and children in need before the Eid. We organize festive events in stores where our volunteers help children choose their Eid outfits, sharing in their excitement. Along with the Eid clothes, we prepare packages with candies, toy sets, and Eid allowances (Eidi), tailored to each child’s age.
- The cost of Eid clothes for one child is 50 USD.
We visit the homes of orphans and children in need door-to-door. To provide basic food and cleaning supplies such as eggs, cheese, formula, shampoo, and detergent, we regularly distribute shopping cards to families. These cards allow families to purchase their needs from supermarkets according to their priorities.
- The cost of a shopping card for one household is 55 USD.
Many households we assist are dealing with parent loss, illness, or disability. Most parents work in daily jobs and struggle to meet basic needs. Financial difficulties often force children to leave school and work. By providing cash support, we help families cover regular expenses such as rent, bills, and medication.
- The cost of cash support for one household is 100 USD.

- Sacrificial (qurbani) animals that meet the necessary criteria for the Eid al-Adha ritual are purchased in the regions where Iyilikhane will operate.
- The slaughtering process begins on the first day of Eid al-Adha after the Eid prayer and continues until the third day of Eid al-Adha. Slaughtering is made according to Islamic procedures. The sacrificed animals are divided into shares and distributed to those in need.
- After the process is completed, our association notifies the donors via SMS that their qurbani has been slaughtered and distributed.
- Visuals of the qurbani are sent to the donors via SMS or email within a week.
