We met with hundreds of guests for goodness in İyilikhane Breakfast Program, shared a table! We came together with more than 500 guests to support the Bangladesh İyilikhane Orphanage, to share the troubles of the children of the world and to talk about goodness, in the breakfast program we held on Sunday, November 5, 2017.
After breakfast, our President Merve Çirişoğlu Çotur delivered the opening speech. She informed the audience about İyilikhane's works. She mentioned about the problems faced by children in various geographies. "We learn from our Lord that night and day follow each other in an orderly manner. We know that there is an ease with every difficulty, but it is necessary to switch to another when one job is finished. Right now, the world may be passing through hard times as night, so we think our duty is to stay awake during night and prepare ourselves for mornings. We hope to be one of those who dedicate their material and spiritual savings to planning and making good deeds, and who advise each other the right and patience, and we have been working with this effort for 7 years” she said and shared the goodness stories we have had with our volunteers in İyilikhane. She announced the new name of our association: "We decided to continue our journey with a more inclusive expression in order to keep the children in need, whose fathers are alive but under very difficult conditions, as well as orphans on our agenda in our activities both at home and abroad, and this year we changed the name of our association to İyilikhane Child Association."
Following our president, Taha Kılınç delivered a speech: "Don't let stories of great virtue make it impossible to aid; the real aid is to share what we have.." and addressed our guests on "aid and sharing".
After the speeches, an Umrah raffle was held among the participants and the award was presented to our winning guest. The certificates of our saplings planted on behalf of Taha Kılınç and our announcer İbrahim Emre and their families were presented to them. Our guests left the program by filling their bags with many favors.
We wish that our organization, which we have carried out with dozens of volunteers who took part in the preparatory stages of our program and during the program, will conduce to many more favors. On behalf of Bangladeshi orphans, we would like to express our gratitude to all the beautiful people who worked, came, and could not come to our program.
