How does the qurbani process work?

Donors transfer their share payments via bank transfer or EFT to our bank accounts, donate online by credit card, or deliver it in person by visiting our association headquarters.
In the regions where İyilikhane will carry out its work, sacrificial animals are purchased in accordance with the criteria required for the qurbani worship.
The sacrifice process begins on the first day of Eid al-Adha, right after the Eid prayer, and continues until the evening of the third day. Qurbanis are slaughtered in accordance with Islamic principles. The sacrificed wajib, vow, aqiqah, or gratitude qurbanis are divided into shares and distributed to those in need.
After the qurbani sacrifices are completed, our association notifies the donors via text message that their qurbani has been carried out.
Images of the sacrificed qurbani are sent to the donors within one week via SMS or email.

1. What are the qurbani prices?
We have set the share price at 4,300 TL in Africa and 17,000 TL in Turkey. The equivalent in foreign currency is 115 USD for Africa and 420 USD for Turkey.

2. How can I give my qurbani authorization (wakalah)?
When you make a qurbani donation, it is considered that you have also given your authorization, because the essence of wakalah is intention and will. By sending your donation to have your qurbani sacrificed, you are deemed to have given your authorization, so there is no need to express it verbally.

3. What do you consider when identifying qurbani regions and organizing activities?
We carry out our qurbani activities in various parts of Turkey and African countries. As in all of our activities, we deliver your donations to orphaned and needy children and families living under difficult conditions. In Istanbul, we conduct household visits throughout the year with our social investigation teams to identify needs and provide various types of aid to families based on specific criteria and assessments. We deliver your qurbanis to households of orphaned and needy children whose needs we have verified. In African countries, we organize our qurbani work in areas of need with the help of local teams, and prepare detailed reports for each region before and after Eid al-Adha.

4. How will I know when my qurbani has been sacrificed?
Once your qurbani has been completed, we send a text message to the phone number you provided during your donation, notifying you that your qurbani has been sacrificed.

5. Do you send photos and videos of the qurbani?
Yes. Images of your sacrificed qurbani are sent to you within one week via text message or email.

6. How soon will the qurbani I donated be sacrificed?
If you donate a qurbani during the year, it will be sacrificed within one week and its video will be sent to you. For wajib qurbanis donated for Eid al-Adha, the sacrifice begins on the first day after the Eid prayer and is completed by the third day of Eid.

7. How do you determine qurbani prices?
We determine share prices by obtaining price quotes for sacrificial animals from various suppliers in the regions where we operate, and include currency exchange differences, organizational, distribution, and logistics costs.

8. Why is it important to donate qurbani?
We carry out our Eid al-Adha qurbani programs in poor neighborhoods of Turkey and in African countries, delivering your goodness to households in need. While helping donors fulfill their religious obligation of qurbani, we also share in the joy of Eid with orphaned and needy children who rarely have access to meat and suffer from malnutrition.

9. Can I donate qurbani from abroad?
